سیزده دليلی كه بايد انگليسی را آموخت!

اهميت يادگيری زبان انگليسی برای کسی پوشیده نیست. زبان انگليسی در بسياری از نقاط دنيا استفاده می‌شود و شما می‌توانيد در مسافرت يا در كار خود از اين زبان استفاده‌ بسياری بكنيد.

Key Aspects in Listening

A lot happens during a monologue or dialogue when it comes to listening. Much of it happens almost simultaneously and without any conscious effort. However, this doesn't imply that listening is a passive skill. People can't just kick back and absorb the information. They instead select, edit, and interpret auditory and visual clues to reach the message.

This can prove difficult for ESL EFL students, as there are a number of aspects that get in the way of the message. For example, students must deal with colloquialisms, reduced forms, fillers, and repetition. They must correctly interpret inflection, intonation, and word stress for added meaning and nuance. They must possess background knowledge and vocabulary on the topic, which proves especially true in situations where students listen to business presentations, seminars, and lectures.

Although any or all of the above points may appear in a monologue or dialogue, as a teacher you can add even more challenge. In fact, you should go far beyond playing a CD, getting the class to answer a comprehension question or two, and then moving on to the next step of the lesson. Some or all of the below aspects needed for successful listening may be easily incorporated into any lesson.

TOEFL is abbreviation for Test of English as a Foreign Language. It’s international test developed by ETS Educational Testing Service in Princeton University, USA. The goal of TOEFL is to estimate a level of English language of foreigner speakers. Many of them need to pass TOEFL to enter 240 universities of USA and Canada, many colleges in other English-speaking countries; business-structures and 150 world countries accept TOEFL certificates. TOEFL used to evaluate English language skills by government structures, international organizations giving educational grants and many license and certificate organizations around the world. TOEFL certificates can be accepted even in UK that have 4 functioning TOEFL centers.

Attention! TOEFL results are good only for 2 years after the test.

TOEFL at a test isn’t very difficult, but it’s not very standard, so some of the questions can be puzzling. Even if you speak English perfectly, you still need to get use to structure of TOEFL test, because there were not so many people who passed it successfully at the very first time. You need to train a LOT, train to answer TOEFL questions and repeat topics you’re not very strong in.

Listening is a critical skill for all adults to have, to learn about others. Also, it is one of the most valuable tools for you to establish a strong rapport with employees.
There are many books about effective listening skills. The following common guidelines can help you to accomplish effective listening in the vast majority of situations.

1. Be sure you can hear the speaker. It is surprising how often people do not really listen to other people. It is just as surprising how often people do not realize that they cannot even hear other people. So always make this your first guideline in any situation for effective listening.
2. Overall, attempt to listen 75% of time – speak 25% of time. This is one of the most powerful guidelines. Use of the guideline depends on your situation. For example, if you are making a presentation, you will speak more. Otherwise, ensure that the other person speaks more than you do – and listen to them.
3. Adopt a culturally compatible physical posture to show you are interested. This can be a powerful means to show others that you are interested in hearing them. For example, you might lean forward and maintain eye contact. Whatever physical gestures you make, be sure they are compatible to the culture of the speaker.

Even if you study English at a language school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the language learner it's perfect.

A comprehensive research has been accomplished among 40 countries of the world regarding the authenticity and soundness of moral conducts of the world nations .

The theme and subject of this research includes the wont or habit of bullying , depravity , foul and renege , extortion , hooliganism and knife – stabbing , theft and illogicality … etc.

Seven Keys to Reading Faster

Speed Reading

1. Use a Pointer
your eyes don’t actually stay fixed in one spot. They are frequently making brief twitches away from your center of focus to gather more information. These movements are called saccades and they represent the first tool novice readers can use to read faster.
Normally, when your eye twitches away, it must relocate in its previous position. Unfortunately, when you read, this position is constantly moving. Saccades (and just general distractions) cause you to slow down as you must search for your current reading position. The solution is to use a pointer.
The easiest pointer is just the tip of your finger. Simply place your index finger below a line of text and move it as you read. Initially, using a pointer will be slower than regular reading. But after you’re used to the motion, you can read more effectively.
Note for Advanced Speed-Readers: You can further increase your speed-reading rates by keeping your pointer 1-2cm away from the margins of the text. Your eye can catch the words in about a 1″ radius, so this can shave off a bit of reading time.
